A scout must fulfill the requirements set forth for each rank and meet with the Scoutmaster upon completion of all of the requirements.

Each rank advancement requires ACTIVE participation!  The Scoutmaster is the only person who will sign off on the Participation requirement.  Mr. Ossa will not sign off unless active participation has been demonstrated.

For Troop 403 this means attending at least 4 meetings held during the calendar quarter needed for the next rank advancement and attendance in at least one outing per quarter - no exceptions.

Upon completion of the Scoutmaster Conference it is up to each scout to schedule their Board of Review with the Advancement Chair.  A scout is not guaranteed that he will have a Board of Review unless it is properly scheduled.
