On our first outing as a crew we learned the art of technical rock climbing and rapelling at Joshua Tree National Park home to some of the best rock climbing in Southern California.

Members of the crew will be working on their Open Water and Advanced Open Water SCUBA certifications during the summer and we have plans to kayak the Colorado river in the Fall.

The "big" trip that we have started to plan will take place in the Summer of 2009 when we plan to man and sail a 46 foot schooner through the Florida keys while we stop each day to SCUBA dive. This will be at the Florida Sea Base which is one of the high adventure bases run by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
